Aerial thermal inspection · Southern Alberta

We find what your panels are hiding.

A failing solar panel looks perfectly healthy from the street. Through our drone's thermal sensor, it glows. Move across the scene — that's what we see on every flight.

PHASE 01The blind spot

Alberta has tens of thousands of rooftop solar systems — and many of the companies that installed them are gone. The warranties they left behind are still valid, but no manufacturer honours a claim without a qualified diagnosis. And after a southern-Alberta hailstorm, the damage that matters most is the damage you can't see. We photograph it, measure it, and hand you the proof.

0rooftop solar systems across Alberta — a huge, aging fleet with almost nobody inspecting it
Sun & hailsouthern Alberta is Canada's sunniest region — and one of its most active hail corridors. Both hit your roof
0 ladders100% aerial. Nobody walks your shingles, disturbs your array, or steps on the evidence
PHASE 02The services

One flight. A report built for whoever has to believe it.

Flat pricing for typical residential systems — larger arrays, commercial buildings and farm sites are quoted per project. Every service ends the same way: a professional report in your inbox the day we fly.

Annual Health Check

For every solar owner · yearly

A thermal and visual scan of your entire array with a report card you can actually read: a 0–100 health score, a performance snapshot, and your next check-up date. Small faults get caught while they're still cheap.

Claim-Ready Solar Inspection

For warranty & insurance claims

A full inspection to the IEC 62446-3 international standard — every fault classified, its temperature measured, sunlight conditions verified on site. Formatted so an adjuster or manufacturer can't wave it away.

Post-Hail Solar Assessment

Priority · after the storm

Priority scheduling when hail hits. We document visible strikes in 48MP detail and hunt the hidden damage — cracked cells that look fine but run hot — before repairs erase the evidence.

Roof & Hail Damage Scan

For any roof · solar or not

A complete aerial survey of every slope in crisp 48MP, plus thermal moisture detection that reveals water trapped where a visual-only inspection sees nothing. No ladders, no missed slopes.

Pre-Sale Verification

For buyers, sellers & realtors

An independent condition report on the solar system attached to the deal — so the array closes as a documented asset instead of an open question during negotiations.

PHASE 03The platform

Enterprise sensors. Not hobby gear.

We fly the DJI Matrice 4T — the same class of aircraft used to inspect powerlines, wind turbines and utility solar farms. A radiometric thermal camera, three 48-megapixel visual cameras and a laser rangefinder, pointed at your roof.

0×512radiometric thermal — a real temperature behind every pixel
0MP ×3triple visual cameras for print-sharp damage photography
0×hybrid zoom — individual hail strikes from a safe standoff
0minper battery — your whole property in a single flight

Heat you can measure, not just see

We record exactly how much hotter a fault runs than the healthy panels beside it, and grade that against international thresholds — so a finding is a number, not an opinion.

Hail forensics at 112× zoom

Every strike on glass or shingle, photographed close enough to count — while your roof stays untouched and your evidence stays intact.

Every finding pinned to a panel

An onboard laser rangefinder maps each defect to its exact spot on your array. Your report reads panel-by-panel — no ambiguity for an adjuster to exploit.

Moisture that hides from the eye

Wet material holds heat differently than dry. Thermal imaging exposes trapped water and leak paths under your roofing long before the stain shows up on your ceiling.

Conditions verified on site

Sunlight intensity and weather are measured at the moment of flight — a requirement of the IEC 62446-3 method, and the difference between a photo and evidence.

Rooftop to ranch

The same aircraft covers a single suburban array, a commercial building, or a ground-mount system on a rural quarter — anywhere in southern Alberta.

PHASE 04The deliverable

The flight takes minutes. The report is what you're buying.

Two formats, written for the person who has to act on them. Both land in your inbox the same day we fly.

Tell us about the roof

The address, the system size, and what you need — a yearly check-up, storm documentation, a warranty claim, or a home sale. We check the airspace and confirm your flight window.

We fly the inspection

A complete thermal and high-resolution visual survey of your array and every roof slope, with sunlight and weather conditions verified on site. Nobody touches your roof — and you don't need to be home.

Your report lands

Annotated findings, classified defects, measured temperatures and clear next steps — a professional PDF in your inbox the evening of the flight, formatted for you, your insurer, or the manufacturer.

Straight answer on scheduling

Flights run early evenings and weekends, and — like all drone work — they're weather dependent. We'd rather move a flight a day than hand you data taken in the wrong conditions. Your report still lands the same day we fly. After a major hail event, combo bookings get first priority.
